Ate shop bought food for breakfast, including some really tasty cinnamon buns! Once the kids had completed their schoolwork, we walked into town, only to find that ~50% of the shops & market stalls were open! Finding a cup of coffee took time, though, as most of the cafes were closed, so we ended up at another seafood restaurant, sat outside, drinking coffee made with milk (accidentally ordered, & not pleasant!).
We returned to our room, to find that the cleaners were half way through cleaning, so we vacated the room again, once we realised that they were waiting for us to go out, before finishing cleaning! We walked along the main road, back to the circular restaurant at the foot of Christo Rey hill, & ate frijoles & tortilla chips, while drinking beer / coffee / lemonade.
After an hour or so, we strolled back to the now freshly cleaned room, for the kids to spend some time on their projects (J: Aztecs; M: Mexico) while D&L read & relaxed in front of the TV (Terminator 2).
Eventually, we started to feel hungry, so we strolled up the road, through the centre, & found a family run restaurant with very high ceilings, painted orange with blue decorated arches. D's T-bone steak really hit the spot, & L & the kids enjoyed their chicken.
We returned to our room, settled the kids in bed, & D&L watched Gladiator on TV, on a channel which kept regularly pausing the film, for 15 minute commercial breaks!
