Hamburgers (homemade) for breakfast for D,J & M! L: veg omelet and bread. Relaxed for an hour then walked to ATM, and bought black cotton for L to darn clothes ! Very hot - kids needed ice creams to regain a sense of perspective!

Vichelle arrived at 12 to talk plans and money, & we arranged trips for next few days. $60 for tuk-tuk and driver for 3 days.

D played guitar, L fixed clothes, kids played in the hostel & the big puddles outside!

Late pm - walked to Lucky Supermarket for breakfast supplies, and cheap Gordon's gin! Then back to GH for kids to do homework: maths on Skoool website. Parents had a large gin! Delicious fried noodles for D for tea; L chicken Amok; M chicken / veg soup; J fried shrimp & cucumber)

Put kids to bed, and sat in communal area, chatting, for an hour - with another large gin!

Then to bed.

Woken in the middle of the night by a very noisy rainstorm!
