Today not all that much happened. We flew to Ho Chi Minh; I walked into a lady on toilet. Found a hotel. Ho Chi Minh is a lot bigger than Hanoi, biggest city in Vietnam but the traffic is a lot less busy than in Hanoi, there are lots of restaurants and shops. Dinner at Allez Boo, played some pool - me and Isaac came a respectable third (out of three :/). Then we had some apple Shish before going to bed early in prep for our early morning start.

The next day, waking up in the midst of Halong bay was a sublime feeling. Most beautiful thing I've ever woken up to! Kept forgetting where I was and then being delightfully reminded! We had breakfast and lunch and spent the rest of our time sunbathing on the poop deck. More chat with the Canadians. And then we got the bus back. Today we took a trip to Halong bay, one of seven natural wonders of the world! We got picked up from the hotel by a bus and had a three hour trip to the bay. The guide was a young lady called Seven like the number 7, she was very nice and so funny. She told us some cultural facts about Vietnam, like how to gesture someone over politely. When we arrived at the bay, the outside of the boat didn't quite look like the picture that we were shown in the brochure...

We grabbed our included breakfast at the hotel and then went back to our room. The crowded four man room began to get to Mr Ben and the words came out of his mouth, "I feel like I'm in a refugee camp". He then had a sudden urge to shave his head, so that he did. Lunchtime we flew from Luang Prabang to Hanoi. The flight was pretty swift and by the time we had been given and finished our snacks and drinks, we were preparing for landing!
