South East Asia Travels '12
The bus took us back home and dropped us at the Vietnam War Remnants Museum. It was very powerful and moving. There were sickening stories about the deaths of soldiers and also innocent civilians and children. There was also a gallery of recent photos of people who are still affected by the events of the Vietnam War to this day. Agent Orange, the chemical that was sprayed onto villagers caused many children a generation later to be born with various deformities. Obviously the museum was very one sided and didn't really show much of the American's loss, but it was shocking to see and read stories of what the American's had done to innocent civilians. The whole museum was very morbid but a definite must see.
For dinner we happened to bumped into the guys work friends from triumph. So they joined us for food and drinks.
