As per usual on a checkout day, I had to pack up majority of the room into our bags and get us ready. Somehow we managed to eat breakfast, pack and checkout on time for our pick up for a two hour bus ride back the way we came yesterday to Urubamba.

Ziplining was fun! We had opted not to the combined Via Ferrata and Zipline, but the plain ol' Zipline route had plenty of Via Ferrata-ring. Our group climbed up a fair while to the first line in the heat and sun, however halfway up the rain came down and, needless to say, we ended up quite damp! Though it was a fun day, and Jeremy and I got to show off a tad and pretend we were professionals (him more than me), it was kind of disappointing. We expected to see a lot of the Sacred Valley, especially since we had just got back from the trek, but our view was merely the Urubamba River (still impressive) and some corn fields.

Our return was met with clean and warm laundry, so yay warm clothes! One dinner later, we were in a taxi to meet our bus to Arequipa! (This bus was such a luxury, 180 degree folding bed/chairs and dinner served before sleep time!)
