Day 7
Waiting for our plane to fly to Tanda Tula in the Timbavati Reserve. There was a giraffe standing on the air strip. The pilot is concerned about the low ceiling and is running late. They closed up camp and all the crew is with us We had a long breakfast and had the most interesting conversation with Ant whose family came as farmers in the 1800s from Englandand settled in the Waterburg area. His brother runs the family farm and he has manages a reserve and has the safari camps.
Josie- I had a lot of fun today on the game drive! It was so amazing to see the leopard, and the wild dogs. I also really enjoyed seeing the lions yesterday and all the birds. I'm very excited to go on the game drive tonight and I hope to see a cheetah, also the food is amazing I really enjoy it! I'm going to be so disappointed when I get home! I don't want to leave! The elephants are so cool and they are also very scary but I'm excited to see more animals.Annie- Tanda Tula is so cool! So many animals wondering around camp. Have to zip tents with clips or monkeys will break in tent! Amazing how close you can get to animals...lilly-we went Ina game drive and saw lots of animals like leopards and wild dogs! It was amazing! I loved it! Elephant babies are so cute!
