After a very late arrival we checked into the Cape grace Hotel and our gorgeous room overlooking the marina.
Met our guide Jupe at 8:30 and headed to see the neighborhood of Bokaap a charming Muslim neighborhood filled with brightly colored houses. Took a scenic drive to the wharf and then on to coast and what should have been a beautiful drive except it was raining and foggy. Next stop to see the penguins , lunch on the water, a drive through Table Mountain Natl park a ride to the top to see the Cape of Good Hope and
the area where the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Next an ostrich farm,back to our hotel for 10 minutes and off to shop. Josie- I had a lot of fun today and it was beautiful to see everything! Wish I was staying longer. Annie-Amazing how different it is in so many ways but strangely feels like parts of it are could be in USA. Cape Town is very sophisticated and beautiful. Finally have the Rand figured out. Mimoo took money out at airport when we arrived and was in total panic because she thought she took 6 thousand dollars out! It's lilly now...I had fun petting a seal it was awesome. Then we saw penguins and that was really cool they were really cute. I was really excited that I finally got to see a baboon after hours of searching! Can't wait for tomorrow!
