Well the last month has been really varied.

We have started working at the school in the Location. Valombola. It is so fun, but really difficult to teach when they speak very little English. I am loving it though - the kids smiles make the whole volunteering experience so rewarding. At the moment we are teaching them numbers and letters, they can sing the alphabet (with a little help), well they know the very last letter which they show off about by shouting "Z" and throwing their arms around everywhere. It is so lovely.

Also this month the Speed Challenge has begun. This challenge is an international competion where kite surfers and wind surfers come from all over the world to see if they can speed along the water. There aim is to break the world record of the fastest to ever go over a particular distance. It is incredible to watch. Absolutely loving it.

The sun is shining and it is now becoming really warm, not missing England as much now that Luderitz has some warm weather. Still missing the rain though. The palm trees are stunning and I cannot believe just how many there are here.

Went for a walk around the whole of Luderitz, it is a lot bigger than you think, especially if you do a lot less excercise than normal.
