Took it easy today, little italy for our usual brekkie and then went and had a look around the the piers along the bay at fishermans wharf....really cool ships and great views of the both bridges and the city buildings. We then caught the downtown bus and saw the rest of the sightsSan Fran had to offer, LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! Wish we didn't have to leave!!! We then chilled in little italy...again and had dinner in one of the many italian restaurants that spilled out onto the street. Then....it was time for beer olympics at the hostel!!!! Loads of teams grouped into countries. For England A team was me, hannah, claire and ian. Claire and Ian both from london and travelling on their own. We met up with sonja, a german girl we shared a room with in seattle. The welsh and scottish teams both consisted of rugby boys....so no chance of beating them!!! They downed beer like it was air! The first game was ping pong whereby we had to throw a ping pong ball onto a cup which the other team had to drink...the first to get rid of all 5 cups won....claire saved it for us at the last....whoo hooo one point to england A!!! Other games followed such as the pretzel game where you had to each catch a pretzel in ur mouth and then down a pitcher of beer....we just lost out!!! England B i'm sure cheated!!!! No idea where we actually came in the table...around mid way i believe...as long as we beat the hippies which were the "UN" team...idiots!!!! Once the beer had run outa few of us got some more beers ina nd chatted and played a fwe drinking games...it was all very tame unfortunately...but thankfully no hangover which is always good!
