Nightmare night of people walking in and out of the room ALL night! We got up to find out what the deal was with the free breakfast....only to find that we had to fumble in the kitchen and make it ourselves, which normally wouldn't be a problem apparently if we hadn't left it until near the end of breakfast where we were left with the dreggs!! We both looked confused and frustrated at the mayhem and both said...."let's go out to breakfast"! We stumbled across a Crumpet Bar right near our hostel which was literally outside the famous Pike Market. Man were the crumpets goood with some Irish Breakfast tea...perfect! We then walked through the market, there were such a lot of cool stalls with the famous fish stalls throwing fish at eachother.... very good fun to watch. We then decided to go find the space needle, after walking though a bit of a dodgy part of town we saw the needle peering over the buildings/ It was pretty cool so we booked dinner reservations for that night and went to the science ficton / rock memorabilia museum. It was a really stunning building, apparently designed to look like Jimmy Hendrix' smashed up guitar. We didnt have to pay the $30 entrance fee as the guy behind the desk said we were so pretty so didnt have to pay...result! We walked around for about an hour messing around on all the instruments you could play, then headed for the Duck tour of the city. The duck tour was absolutley hilarious!! It was an old world war II vehicle that drove on land as well as sailed on water! The your guide was the funniest guy...he basically sang the whole way round getting us to wave at everyone one on the way round whilst wearing rediculous hats and wigs....very funny!! The tour was cool and going in the river was wicked as we got such an amazing view of the entire city!
Dinner at the Speace Needle was amazing!! It was a rotating resturant which did a full circle every 47 mintues, the views of the city at night were fantastic and the meal was unbeatable!! Definately worth the expensive bill!!! After another night of no sleep we headed for the train once again for our journey to San Francisco.
