Soph And Alice Take On The World!
SURF CAMP
On our way to Byron Bay we stopped off at Surf Camp on Arrawa Beach! This was awesome! When we arrived we all went down to the beach for a surf lesson and surfed for about 3 hours until the sun went down! We're almost pro now! After surfing we went up, had dinner cooked for us and then all went down to the beach for a big party by lantern light! Everyone else from the bus slowly went to bed and it ended up being us four girls and the surfer dudes chilling out on the beach with a guitar all night!! The stars were better than France..TOTALLY AWESOME DUUUUUDES!
BYRON BAY
Where do we start..We loved this place possibly more than anywhere else we've been!! When we arrived we found out that the hostel was $34 a night which is VERY expensive so we went on a mission to try and find somewhere else cheaper..By a stroke of luck we went into an estate agent near the beach and asked if they had any appartments available, they had one left right by the beach and it was only $125 a week each!!! We went and saw it and it was amazing! We were living in luxury!! We had a jacuzzi bath, a massive power shower, a kitchen, a big sofa, a tv, dvd player! it was incredible! We loved it so much we decided to go and book it straight away for 2 weeks!
Byron bay is the most chilled out place on earth..everyday we went to the beach and every night we hit the tiles! In the appartment next door to us (which was also a four bed appartment) there were 9 boys and 1 girl! we all got on really well and had massive parties on our balcony every night! We had a few visitors..jon and carl came and stayed in our bachelorette pad for a few days and our friend Will from NZ came and stayed with a couple of her friends too!
One day we went to Nimbin which is a complete hippy town and very wierd! as you can see from the pictures they are not really discreet about what they love to do with their happy  high herbs shop and bringabong! its hilarious, full of wierdos!! we stayed for a couple of hours laughed a lot and then went back..an experience not to forget!!
Two weeks in Byron flew by and we were very sad to move on..packing our bags was horrible, it was so nice to live out a wardrobe for a while! We said goodbye to our friends and got on the bus up to Surfers Paradise. Bye Byron..We'll never forget you!
