Today I ventured out to the city by myself again, leaving late morning, and once more took advantage of my 5-day city bus pass. I found my way to the river Liffey where I again walked around Grafton Street and today there were lots of street entertainers, some of which were eccentric and others impressive. I also ventured to Henry Street and peered into the many shops that lined the streets. I stopped and ate lunch at the Café De Silous which was over 300 years old. It was used by a doctor and foreign fighting forces on their way through the area, among other uses. The decor inside certainly hinted at a vast history. I then walked around until I found myself near O'Connell Bridge, later Trinity College and again got a close view of Christ Church Cathedral as well as St. Patrick's and St. Mary's churches, before heading back after exploring much of the city and as nightfall was approaching.
