Today was quite a good day seen as how we hadn't planned to do anything very exciting.
Firstly we went down into Sai Kung on another very hot day with a ridiculous humidity of about 90% ish when went down to the harbour area to walk along the pier in hope of a good photo and found that there were plenty of the locals and tourists gathering around along it and as we looked over the edge we saw an entire fleet of small fishing boats selling from the boat, literally it was very strange people on the top put their money in the net and then the fisherman/woman asked what they wanted and then killed it and de-scaled it etc. right in front of you and then put it in a bag and handed it back up in the net, it was a more than unusual sight but still very cool and quirky.
We then decided to go and grab some lunch and went to one of the restaurants along the harbor which usually look out of business on a weekday but come into life when the weekend hits we enjoy a very lovely tasting meal and i had a hoegarden for a drink the drink was not exactly pleasant but the size of the drink was very impressive, it was massive !!!
We then proceeded on having a tour of what Sai Kung was like on a weekend and came across a shipyard and a miniature shrine sort of thing which was pretty interesting we then came across a temple of worship which we both thought at first was another restaurant made to look like a temple but as we discovered it was not.
We then decided to head back home but not before going to the local supermarket and getting some noodles and chopsticks for dinner.
Tomorrow should but a more eventful day as we are planning on checking out the local water sports center and maybe going swimming or something.
Its 22:22 (Hong Kong time = 14:01 your time) soo...
Blog off!!!
