Rich has started his promotional exams - seems to be going well, should be finished by Christmas but he has to do them during shift time and is trying to squeeze them in. We feel really settled now here in Mandurah, our first christmas was a bit rushed and lonely having just arrived, everything was a bit of a whirlwind. Living on an island in the windiest part of Australia has played an influencial part in our new adventures. This week we became members of the Mandurah Off Shore Fishing and Sailing Club (Auntie Sally you would be impressed !!). Have figured out that if i want to succeed in a good career out here then i need to re-train in something completely new - so i applied and was taken forward for an interview. this is for a training course to become a dental course !!! it starts in Feb 2009 and has a limited number of places on the Mandurah course of 12, 6 have already been accepted. !!
