THE AGENDA
OK folks, here it is! Please keep in mind that though this is super specific on dates/activities, plans ALWAYS change. The first six months I am all over the place, but from the end of July to mid-December I'll be in Santiago, Chile. I will accept visitors/travel buddies at ANY TIME. Take a look and start thinking about coming to visit!

January 13-18
Mexico: Chichen Itza ruins, warm weather

January 18-25
Belize: Several ruin sites, beach, baboon sanctuary, cenotes (those cool big sinkholes filled with water)
Cities: Orange Walk, Belize City, Belompoan, San Ignacio
January 25 - March 1
Guatemala: Tikal ruins, take Spanish classes/volunteer for one month
Cities: El Cruce, San Marcos La Laguna, Xela, Guatemala city
March 1-14
El Salvador: Volcano hikes, markets and other fun
Cities: Santa Ana, San Salvador, Juayua, Usulutan, Perquin
March 14 - April 6
Honduras: Coffee tour, hikes, hot springs, ruins, museums, volunteer for one week, markets
Cities: Marcala, San Juan, Gracias, Copan Ruinas, Tela, La Villa de San Antonio, Tegucigalpa
April 6-16
Nicaragua: Chocolate tour, museums, churches, volcano, historical sites, markets

Boat from Panama to Columbia: Details to be worked out, but it sounds like you can get a rad trip on a boat (includes snorkeling and all meals) for around $200 for a week. Going to check it out!

Columbia: Beach, museums, churches, paragliding
Cities: Cartagena, Bogota, Ipiales
May 23 - June 23
Ecuador: Museums, sampling chocolate, cheeses and salami, cockfight, scenic train ride, volunteer at animal refuge for two weeks
Cities: Quito, Otavalo, Salinas, Riobamba, Mera, Cuenca
June 23 - July 16
Peru: Ruins (including Machu Picchu!), wine country, Nazca lines, volunteer for week at place rebuilding city after earthquake a couple years ago
Cities: Kuelap, Lunahuana, Pisco, Nazca, Aguas Calientes, Cuzco, Puno, Arequipa
July 16 - mid-December 2010
Chile: Take bus from Peru to Santiago. Live & work in Santiago until mid-December!!!!
