Hi all

Its been a few days since i have posted on here thought i would let Esmée do the honours for a bit .

The last couple of days have been mostly spent making use of the sales here as it has been labour day weekend and we have alot of stuff to replace for our new home nothing like making a fresh start is there . But as you may have seen from the photos we have also fitted in a little sight seeing too .

Yesterday we met up with a lovely couple Gill & Rob who moved here five years ago from england they have been a great help so far and i am sure they will be in the future also. Gill also works at the hospital . Anyway we met them at Rotorua museum which used to be a bath house the first here in fact also making it the first tourist attraction in new zealand . The building sits in some fantastic gardens with a great play park for the kids .

Today we took some time off and drove upto Tauranga and then onto Mt Maunganui which are located at the westerly end of the Bay of Plenty (our nearest coast line ) Tauranga had some fantastic shops and Mt Maunganui has a fantastic beach which as you will see from the pics even on a bank holiday and great weather was not crowded .

From there we took a senic drive back stopping at Okere falls which is just around the corner from where we are staying and will be living . We had a nice walk down to the falls the photo's dont realy do it justice and dont capture the sound of water crashing down .

Tomorrow we are back to sorting stuff out hopefully we will get esmée enroled in the local school spend some more money and eve has a tour of the hospital in the afternoon to see where she will be working and to meet the people she will be working with .
