Hey everybody.
Now I'm in Melbourne, leaving for Sydney tonight. I've had a great time in Victoria, first with Kate and her LOVELY family and then i Melbourne City with lots of fun and interesting people at the hostel.
WHen I came from Adelaide to Andglesea was it a weird feeling being "travelling" again, but Kate's sweet face greeted me in the airport (Avalon). Her family was in Anglesea at a beachhouse, and I felt VERY welcome! We went to the beach, relaxes, red books etc. Our biggest adventure was our trip down the Great Ocean Road - Kate and I saw the Twelve Apostles and the scenic Route there along the coast.
The family invited me to their farm, near Ballan, in a preety, hilly area. There I felt just as home. KAte and I helped herdad with some lams (he's a sheep farmer) and I really enjoyed working again!
I have seldom liked an entire family so much, and as I wrote home to Mum "If I were to de adobted, I wouldn't mind it be them"
But everything good has an end, and so did my stay with the McDougles.
Luckely I found a great hostel in St. Kilda, a Melbourne suburb, where I had a blast. I spent a lot of time with Jon, a 19 year old canadian (yes, I seem to bump into them everywhere!), with who, I explored Melbourne. That city in so cool! Big, but handy size, lively, beautiful with new and old buildings in a good mix and lots of cultures and smily people... but also a lot of poms! The britts was overtaken Victoria! They were everywhere!!! Luckely only the friendly one's!
In Melbourne I tried my first Moonlight Cinema - GREAT IDEA!! We saw Zoolander and met some funny people (just for once). It was ful (in a park) and everyone had food, drinks, blankets etc. - a real picnic. I loved it!
Well, that's it for now folks... talk to you later...
