Our week in the Tirol region has gone so quickly! The weather has been on and off but hasn't really got in the way of us doing anything. We've done some lovely walks and drives.

We went up into the snowy Alps in our shorts to watch a Birds of Prey show, that was brilliant. It went for over an hour and we were pretty cold by the end of it, but Sj had a huge eagle land (under instruction of course) on the hat on her head.

We've become very used to having our Zillertal beer with schnapps, Sj says she will can never drink it on it's own again.

With a ton of dirty washing saved up for this stay, we were gutted to find our little apartment lacked a washing machine, so we've also got to know "Box", Mayrhofen's finest laundrette whilst we've been here.

It has been great being in the one spot for a week, but we're ready to move
on to Switzerland tomorrow. Zernez, then the Glacier Express (8 hour scenic train ride through the mountains between St.Moritz and Zermatt).
