I chose this hotel for its location and for the fact we'd be able to book it partially by using points.
The hotel is centrally located by lake Taupo, which makes it a great base for day trips, as we'd be staying for two nights.
I've also cancelled my points reservation for the hotel in Rotorua, which was no longer needed.
