Well today as planned we walked from our Hotel in Sentral to Petaling Street (China Town) - via KL Station (clean and very British) - then via the unique Islamic inspired Dayabumi Complex (see our picture adjacent) - China Town had stalls aplenty (most selling 'copy' goods) salesmen were friendly and there was a colourful variety of goods and foods. We grabbed some great Chinese food just as a Thunder Storm hit. Stalls rushed to cover as did the pedestrians but the deluge was over in 15 mins and dry again in another 15. We took the cool monorail back (costing 62p !) after a walk to take pics of Menara Tower and Petronas Towers.
In the evening we took the monorail from Sentral to the Indian area - again stalls selling mainly lovely Indian clothes and had a great dinner in an Indian vegetarian restaurant (after Sheryl baulked at a street vendors dirty cloth on the plate she was about to receive to plate up on!) together with 2 glasses of Lasse..yum!
Tomorrow we may go to the KLCC parks.. let's see..
