Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain.
Paris, France
The last couple of days have been jam packed. We were back on the museum trail after having a few days off. So, we saw the Lovre and saw the Mona Lisa. We also saw St. Chapelle's cathedral, walked the Champs Elyses, went up the Arc de triomph, traveled to Versailles and saw what was once the royal place, went to a Cinema museum (which sounded cooler than it was) and finally, went to the Army museum.
Last night it began to rain, and rained a lot. In fact, the rain Started when we were at versailles. I didn't mind it too much though. In fact, I think Paris got more rain yesterday than LA got all of last year.
So we returned back to the flat, hit up happy hour and sat on our minuscule stoop / porch and watched it rain.
As for our last night in Paris, we went over to some local shops and bought fresh brie, fresh salami, a fresh baguette and some champagne, and took it all over to the champs de mars park and had a Picnic by the Eiffel Tower. Then we went for a little walk to get some crem brule. It was delicious!
Today we are off to London. Which means, in a week we will be flying home. I'm a little excited to get home.... I miss the puppy like crazy. Plus, it will be nice to sleep in our own bed again. But, first... To London!
