Valencia was the city I spent the most time in, solely to have a relaxing time in the middle of the trip - needed to refuel after all that walking. Splurged out on a nice hotel with a pool on the roof and spent most of our time there as the temperatures hit 42 degrees. I got a little sunburnt - wasn't red the next day though like back in NZ so that was lucky.
Got a little frustrated trying to navigate in this city and spent a whole afternoon looking for a laundromat and internet café - no one we asked for directions from could speak English haha. If I go back im going with someone who speaks Spanish!!Saw the America's Cup Village down by the beach, visited Mercado Central which is a HUGE fresh food market where we stocked up on some yummy goodies for dead cheap and went inside the Cathedral de Valencia to see the Holy Chalice. There is a bull ring here too but I wasn't keep on watching a fight, don't think its humane when I hear about what they do to the bull before it even gets into he ring
