Barcelona was the first Spanish city we visited and provided the most tourist sights and sounds so it was non stop trying to fit everything into the 3 days. The famous artist in Spain was Gaudi who made some amazing contributions to the city in terms of architecture due to his crazy ideas and designs. His legendary work is in Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia cathedral which is a must see! Gaudi began designing the cathedral in 1882 and after his death the building was funded to continue to his original designs and it still isn't complete - it looks so bizarre.
One night we saw the Illumination Fountains at Mt Juic which was very pretty, massive fountains lighting up in sequence to music shows. Did another Fat Tyre Bike Tour (seeing a pattern emerge here haha) around the beach, La Ramblas market, bull fighting ring and pretty much just wrecked havoc tyring to ride through roundabouts - ended up spending the rest of the day with the people we met on the tour so that was cool. Oh and of course sampled our first yummy tapas and drunk sangria - when in Spain right
