It took us a day and half to see everything on the Argentinean side of the falls. We took a train to the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's throat) area of the falls and saw some cool fish & bluejays on the walk to get right on top of the waterfall. It was sooooo beautiful and so close! We took a 4x4 ride during which we saw big spiders who eat their mates & some monkeys very quickly. We then got on a raft & went a little ways before getting drenched under the waterfalls. It felt so refreshing. We only went under 3 times though - it was very quick. We then took the boat over to San Martin Island and went in the water there.Diana ran out after one of the fish bit her!We walked around the island & saw some more great views of the falls. We then finished up w/ the circuito superior which takes you on top of some of the smaller falls. Finally, we took the bus all the way into town to the spot where the 3 countries meet.We got there right at sunset & it was beautiful!
The next day we went back to the National park on the Argentinean side to walk the Macuco trail through the forest to a tiny waterfall. It was a nice walk, though hot, & we saw more big spiders, big ants, a leaf bug & TONS of butterflies. When we got to the little waterfall I decided to take a little shower under it!It was so refreshing to stand under the waterfall but I must say that as a shower, the water came down pretty hard!
