We took a morning tour of Montevideo for only $18 and it was excellent!- I would say one of the best tours I've been on.We stopped at Independence Plaza, the Constitution plaza (signed July 18, 1830).We saw a beautiful church by the main plaza across from a government building which they explained were the 3 things that were a Spanish requirement for every city.We saw the huge mansions of the colonial days which now below to private institutions like the military...

We took the one hour ferry from Buenos Aires over to Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay.When we got to Colonia it was actually a little chilly/breezy - a big difference from the heat of Iguazu!We rented bicycles & rode them along the beach to the end of the peninsula where we saw the ruins of the last bull fighting ring in S. America.We also ended up at a little beach by the Sheraton where we saw some birds and got eaten my mosquitoes!!We saw another great sunset...
