Hey guys,
I'm so lovin school. It's really great. I've made lots of new friends and when it rains we form our little umbrella gang well, it's quite big really. My best friends are Ruby, Emily, Sian and caprice. The works quite hard though and there's lots of homework and so many class room. Upstairs is a one way system and once I went past my class and had to go all the way round again. I was so annoyed! Germans really cool except are teacher is really over the top. When you walk in she's like HALLO! And your like hallo... But anyway it's still cool we have another german teacher called Mr Witham and he's really strict. I don't like him. My Planners really cool and I even colour coded it. I fill you in more 2morrow
Love you both, Pheebs xxxxxx

Hi Sam (remember us ?) and hi to Emily. Chaz and Alison are staying with us in the sunny Dordogne so they showed us your amazing blog. What a good idea to keep friends and family in touch with your wonderful adventures.(i've never seen a blog like his before) It's been good hearing all your news from your dad. Good luck in your last year at uni. You probably woudn't recognize Thomas (14) and jessie (12) now, they are real teenagers ! Elizabeth is now 6. Anyway, carry on enjoying your travels and hope to see you again one day before too long.

PS
Reviews of sleeping in MIA are pretty bad! our dad also spent a night there waiting for me to arrive the next day and was definitely not impressed. However, none of them mention the prayer room situation. I've fouind one - think it's a new addition there-so you could check it out -concourse B , Level 4. Called The Chapel and it's nondenominational. Phoebe and I had one of our best night's sleep whilst travelling last year in the prayer room at John Lennon, Liverpool. We had to step over several backpackers sleeping right outside it on the cold marble floor so it would seem that not that many have caught on to this relatively comfy/safe 'sleeping facility.' Could be quite different in US though but worth a try if you can't get up to Fort Lauderdale until the early hours. Have a great journey.

Dear Emily
Just watched the sunrise over the ocean here. There's a certain spot on their front porch where you can do that and Max's bed was just at my feet so he had his head rested on them which was lovely too. I couldn't sleep . Partly because of the tropical storm they're experiencing here and partly because of your impending arrival tomorrow and my exitement about that. Hope the storm has passed by the time you fly into Miami and your trip here is not too arduous. Phoebe still doesn't know so I think she's going to get a bit of a shock when she sees you both :) , as will Joey and Madison but they know you're coming just not when.
I've had a truly enjoyable stay. So good to get to know the children again and meet little Anthony - he is an absolute delight and is now walking evrywhere at only 11 months. Infact he made his first steps to me the third day I was here ( after lots of encouragement) and has gone from strength to absolutely everywhere ever since ! Melissa and I have shared a lot too and it's been lovely to be in her company for this long again.I wish she didn't live so far away. Rob took us all down to the ocean in the jeep after tea last night, and we ( just me and Mel) had a great time without the kids in the ocean together. It was really rough ( far too rough for them - which was kind of why we went hee hee) due to the storm- ridiculous waves crashing all around us but such warm water. You'll love it. We even did half a skinny dip when we got further out! The rains came down shortly afterwards and we all got totally drenched whilst waiting for the 3 older ones to do a kids bungee jump but it stops and you're dry again 10 mins later so nothing to worry about and just the right time to go get an icecream - if you can manage to decide on the flavour, literally everything. We have really had so many memorable experiences since we left Leeds and we'll be very sad to make our way back to New York on Sunday , but that will definitely be offset for me and Melissa by your arrival and the time you are all going to spend together. I'm so pleased we worked it so it tied in with our stay too and can't wait to watch some of Sam's reactions as he sees America for the first time.
So lots of love to you both, safe journey , and see you tomorrow!!!
