Iain and I are the worst people in the world and have been awful at keeping in touch! That it is all going to change from this minute!!!How the devil have you been..is this the right place to be leaving you a long message? Everything is mental oriental in our lives at the moment...we survived glastonbury in one piece...was amazing, def has to be done again! Next was Zoo fest, Iain played well, got interviewed for a magazine!! Both working, me in the law firm and him in school. Hes now in the studio none stop cos they're recording a single to release..pretty exciting! Found someone for my room after a massive palaver..think its turned really well, its a girl who gets on really well with Kim, think theyve been on some mad ones!! Iain and i have found a flat with our friend vicky, we're moving in next week which is pretty mental...you'll have to come and be entertained!! Bad News is that Iains snake has escaped somewhere in his room/house/garden...we have no idea where it is, i am s***ting my pants, wont get dressed, get into bed or touch anything without iain checkin for snake first!! Just got back from glade festival over the weekend, had a reeeally amazing time but need some time off to get better. Taking it easy this week but iains got a massive gig on sat then his birthday on sun..im taking him to see batman at the imax theatre and then cooking him lobster and champagne (totally jealous of ur cheap lobster!!!). Think Kim might come visit us at the end of aug when we're back from st lucia.
How are you doing em, so sorry to hear that you were poorly, hope sam looked after you well and that your over the worst!! Im gonna go now and read every page of your blog to find out whats been going on...MISS YOU TERRIBLY!!
P.s
Why not trade The Beach on for something else. I don't need it back and it sounds like the ideal backdrop for reading there ! Take it easy :) xx

dear Ems and sam,
Great to hear you are having a good time. You sound like you are feeling abit guilty there actually relaxing sunning your selves etc well don't be! It makes up for the rough coach rides, sickness etc.
We are all fine. Hardly seen your dad these past weeks he's been away to New York then home one day and off for 2 nights in Derby. Meanwhile I am manically trying to get all my work done before going to France this Friday and work is too busy. Plus the kids have got a million shows, dos, leaving parties I have to taxi/ go to. I don't know if I'm coming or going I will be ready for a complete break I can tell you! Met my friend Linda from Leeds in London on Saturday she came down with some friends for her birthday, luckily the weather was great spent it in covent garden the did some shopping of course.
Any way take care and lots of love to you both Sylviexxx

Good morning travellers!
Ive just read through most of your expedition so far. It all seems far too exciting! I especially like the llama faetuses and the fake rabbit- my kind of thing. It seems like youve been gone for ages. Ive managed to complete my first term of Officer training and am now taking a well earned 2 weeks off. I went up to newcastle the other day to see Kim, he seems good, though maybe a little bit bored! I hope to hear from you soon in blog format. Stay safe and watch out for me over the skies! x

Hi
On Monday Greenway girls year 6 criket team ( I'm in the team ) won the match and got into the semi finals at Horsham griket club for the county finals! We played against my headteachers son's girls team! And beat them by very close. So then we got into the final!! But then we lost the toss and we had to bat first :( so we lost! and came second place! and Greenway had never been on the cup before so, We got a medal ( by the way if your wondering it was on wednesday )
It was our leavers disco yesterday! Just for year 6 and it was really sad!
bye love ya loads!

Hi beautiful people,
Just a quick note to say hello. Ems you are just born journalist / writer.. I feel like I've already been there. Thanks for the sharing it with us.Must to tell you that you have got a big army of devoted fans here (which must feel nice deep down..) but also (as much as they are nice) they have become addicted to your stories and need more... regularly. please ??!!
Maybe some photos as well Sam !!
Saw Nikki and Palmi yesterday, they look soooo good with that lovely olive sun tan and big white teeth.
It's starting to rain again. Lovely weather for ducks.
Be well and happy,

Well, I'm nearly done! Last day at college today- had some digital camera training as I'm hoping to use use it with some students in one of my classes next year. Just have one more session to run for the after school club tomorrow - going to make some summer collage pictures to use up all the bits and bobs we have left and hopefully will get chance to get the parachute out for some outdoor games , weather permitting!
Have already started to clear Phoebe's bedroom as I'm going to try and 'distress' her loft bed amongst other things . I'll probably be the only thing distressed in there though, but Pauline(Gilliland) has given me some great tips on how to do it. She and her daughter, Emily - your namesake - have their own little business together now renovating all things to a 'Shabby chic' status so I'm in good hands, hopefully :\
It's Nana's birthday on Friday so I'm going to take some time out to take her shopping and then to see mama mia with Feebs later on after her ballet class. She has been invited to join the seniors now for a bit of extra direction and it's her first one before the summer break.
We're off to Barnard castle the next day to see Gordon's first outing of the one man show he's put together for the Edinburgh Fringe this year. Think I mentioned this when I was translating that german caberet song for him. It's based on Kafka's monkey story- Red Peter and I'm really looking to seeing what he's done with it and having a good old catch up with Janice. Holly's in Thailand at the moment and she's finally had to learn how to e-mail so she could keep in touch with her and hear all her news.
Also starting to pack slowly. Can you believe that . I am really trying not to be so last minute whenever I can. Honest!
Have to take Millie and Jasper to Whitby next week for their summer hols- they are not going to be pleased so I'm not looking forward to this journey at all but the vet has recommended a calming spray so I'm hoping it'll help and they won't be too moody when we get there :( :( .They'll soon calm down I'm sure but Allyson says it'll be really funny without Tiggy this year.
Well , think that's all the news I've got for now and it's time to go and get Phoebe from her first rehearsal Anyway like everyone else has said on the boring you factor , it's probably just as well .
So using some of those beautiful "Once" words (permanently on!) I'll leave you walking on moonbeams and staring out to sea.
Just wish (as ever) you could pop back for an hour and share a pot of my liquorice tea. I love you Emily and hope your beautiful little beach shack on the peruvian coast surpasses all your expectations.
Thinking about you both and sending very big hugs and smiles.
Mars xx
