re: photo from 29 January 2010Sarah It sounds like your adventure has started off really well! Your enthusiasm is awesome. I actually got inspired to look back at our pictures from going to Italy in 2005 after reading your blog post and seeing some of the photos on Facebook! Jeff and I loved Florence. Such a beautiful city and so much to do...we crammed it all into 3 days in the city so I can't wait to hear about all of the cool things you do over the course of the semester! I'm sure you will spend most of the time at first in Florence, but don't forget about Cinque Terre. It looks like it is about a 2 hour train ride. Such a cool "tiny" place! Looking forward to following along with your adventure over the blog! Love, Sarah (+Jeff +Brendan)
re: florence, ItalyMichelle Hi Suzanne, I'm so glad that you decided to study in another country. I am a firm believer in life experiences, as a teaching tool. Traveling teaches us to look at how we live objectively. It also gives you great confidence. Travel carefully and enjoy!!! Love, "Big" Michelle
