Our next few days were spent in the delightful company of Ros and Noel Stevenson, once residents of Republic, and the Doctor who delivered me(Scot).
A hop, skip and jump from the beach, their beach house was the perfect location to relax and recharge. We were immediately welcomed into their home and treated as one of the family. It was great to visit and get to know Ros and Noel better, and talk of our travels and adventures. They helped us get acquainted with the area and offered some excellent advice. Day trips to the Australian Zoo, Noosa Heads and more beach time.
We were also treated to spending time with three of their grandchildren, Adiya, Jesse and Harper. Ros having just celebrated a birthday, she received a bee hive. We were put to task helping the kids to name the 5000 bees.
Dinner that night was spent with the kids mom Lindsay and future NY theatre director niece Chelsea. The morning after the kids left, it was much quieter in the Stevenson household.
Ros was quite taken with our Wicked van, and was the first to hop in for a spin around the neighborhood. A few glances from passersbys as Mike and Ros cruised along the beach.
