Welcome to the jungle. Well today started with us heading to the bus stop to catch the bus to rurrrenabaque, the 17-34 hour bus. Along the death road. It was possibly THE worst 24hours of my life. Firstly the bus was incredibly slow and we had seats right at the back. On the right hand side. Also I was feeling ill which didnt help. The road was mental. So thin, with sheer drop edges and I was incredably scared for my life. Then to make matter worse, the rain came and we got a puncture so had to stop for 2hours to fix it, prett much a botched job aswell. Then a little later there was a land slide and we were hit by falling rocks which smashed a few windows. And it was the bumpyest thing in the world that had us leaping out of out seats every few seconds. Horrid horrid horrid. Anyway after this hideous 24hours of being on a bus we eventually arrived in rurrenabaque a little town and it was super hot and super humid. It was mental. I felt like s*** so we found the nearest hostel (a whole £1.50 a night) and I slept and send Chris off to find and book a pampas tour and a flight back to la Paz for when we we came back. So we booked on a tour to the pampas for the next day with Will a guy we met in the hospital when getting Chris's arm looked at. And got a flight for the Monday. Went dor some food after i recovered a bit and then went to bed in the asuoer heat. Jungle in the morning!
