Hello! I think it's well and truly time for an update!

Can't remember the last time I wrote here but I think it was just after Kate left so i will take it from there.... Started my work for Providore last week, on thursday I was helping out with a corporate breakfast in a hotel down the road which went fine, but it was a very early start as I had to be there for 6.45am (I've forgotten what mornings look likesince I've been out...) Then on Saturday I got to do one of the corporate boxes and the Mt Eden rugby stadium for a union match between the "Blues" and the "Brumbies"... It was fun but the people in my box didn't leave until security chucked them out at 11.30 so it was a very long day as I'd been there since 3! It was a similar thing on Sunday at the Mt Smart Stadium though it was an afternoon match so got home at a reasonable hour thank goodness!

Have started housekeeping at the hostel so that I get free accomodation, it's 10 - 1, 5 days a week and sucks a bit but is saving me $150 a week so can't complain! Was speaking to the manager of the Globe Bar next door to see if I can get a job there as they also would give me free accom for doing 20 hours a week and would be a lot better than cleaning people's beds! Though i am going to be fully domesticised when I get home haha...

Haven't done an awful lot this week as the weather has been shocking (we had thunder and lightning yesterday) and I've made some good friends at the hostel so when the weather's bad we manage to have a good time anyway! Think I may stay in Auckland until the end of May if I get the job at the Globe because i only need a month or so to do the Kiwi bus trip and don't leave for Fiji until July...

Glad to hear Percy is safe and sound, it's wierd... The day he went missing I thought to myself "I wonder what they'd do if Percy escaped..." And then you told me... Spooky!!
