This week has been a very up down week. I mean on tuesday I had work and i was given 12 essays that were written in english to mark. They were on subjects like friendship, the education system, domestic violence and communism...at 12 years old.... ANYWAY i marked them and i got so sick on wednesday so i just couldn't go into work and then i felt better so i went to meet some friends and went to salsa....well that was a silly idea.. i felt so much worse on thurs...

So, last week was spent in Barra Honda National Park and I had THE most amazing time! I got eaten alive by mosquitos but it was so good it cancelled it out ;) We did so much! We walked to the very top of the mountain to set up some butterly nets and my leg got eaten by a rock! :( We planted some trees, fixed bat nets, had a night dedicated to catching bats, caught butterflies, went down a REAL cave, not lit buy artificial light. Well, today was eventful to say the least!!Woke up at 6am to be at the church for 7, and we got to Ricon de la Veirja (I can't spell) for about 8.The first thing we did was the canopy tours and oh my was it amazing! The first inital scare of being hung about 100 metres above the ground (give or take a little) was just gone in a second when you could see trees as far as the eye could see! And there were zip lines over rivers and it was just amazing!We had to climb...

I went to Samara on friday morning with a nice group of others and after a 4 hour bus journey we got there at about half 5 and some of us just went straight into the sea! It's nice to actually get into the sea without freezing your t*** off!! Olah, So after a 8 and a half hour flight and another 5 hour flight, a night in san jose and a 5 hour bus journey, I am at my accomdation. The Lady i'm living with, Yelba, doesn't speak English but there are two other girls staying here that are volunteers and speak English so they are all trying to help me learn spanish :)I've got my induction today with my school and a tour of the city so hopefully i won't get too lost. it's all a bit scary at the moment but ...
