Well, today was eventful to say the least!!
Woke up at 6am to be at the church for 7, and we got to Ricon de la Veirja (I can't spell) for about 8.
The first thing we did was the canopy tours and oh my was it amazing! The first inital scare of being hung about 100 metres above the ground (give or take a little) was just gone in a second when you could see trees as far as the eye could see! And there were zip lines over rivers and it was just amazing!
We had to climb a HUGEE wall though which practically killed me but meh, at least i did it. After 7 zip lines we finished and went back to the 'base' i suppose you could call it, and were taken to get on the horses. I thought i was okay with horse back riding, turns out i'm not! The horse I was on kept swaying and would only walk behind another horse, but in the end it was kicked in the face by Rachels horse which was right infront. But we got there in one piece to the tubing area. Now i thought it would be fine and that we would be safe, turns out er...ner! after the first two bigger drops i felt okay, it came to the third drop and i fell out...i've scraped my legs pretty bad but somebody got out of their dingy so that he could stay with me a while whislt i calmed down which was nice. When i finally found a guide he stayed withh me the rest of the way because i was FAR to scared to go on my own! i'm a big pansy yeaaah..
I was so glad to get out of the water and I've had a pretty bad reaction to something on the dingy because the inside of my arms are all red :( sad face. But anyway we went back for lunch and after we went to the hot springs and the mud bath.
It was so nice and my skin feels great but it made my scratches and stuff worse, eurgh and the water was sooo hot. I shouldn't complain really, but meh! :)
At the end of the day, i'm still alive, i didn't loose a limb so it could be worse huh?!
:) :)
