Who said London was gloomy? My first day in London I was greeted by this beautiful blue sky. This sky turned out to be lying to me as the following day it rained and then it tried to kill me with the sun, but nethertheless it was a beautiful welcoming.

Hostel: Clink 78

The Clink 78 (not 261) is where the topdeck tour leaves from so with a 7am depature its a fantastic place to stay. It is however made from an old jail, so its kinda creepy in an interesting way.

Of course there is no free internet, Ireland spoilt us, but there are many other perks.

They have a bar for just the quests, with several hundred people there every night so its packed everynight and a great spot to meet people, which I will come back to later.

As well as hostel report we have now started shower report, the most important part of a hostel is the showers.

Clink 78 had the best showers so far, nice and hot with good pressure. They were still too high up for me but at least this time there was enough room to step far away enough, I didnt have to wash my hair everytime I had a shower. However there was no choice in temperture and you pressed the on button every 30 seconds.

The clink also showed what a small world it really is. I ran into a guy who lived a street away from me and we had mutual friends. Whatyaknow.
