Early rise, breaky at VIPS again, great value, great value plus free wifi. Caught the train which was very impressive, clean and got up to 300kms per hour, Bretts ears even popped at the end. On arrival at Valencia lined up to reserve our seats for Barcelona in 3 days time, this one was just under an hour. We could get s ticket though to wait for our turn so aloud us to get some Maccas for lunch and speak to the tourist office. Got our maps and some lollies from a nearby shop and made our way to our hotel (NH Centre Hotel). As we have three nights in Valencia we decided to go for a run, sweat out a bit of alcohol and junk food and get some sun. We are a fair way from the beach however have a rooftop pool which is awesome. We relaxed by the pool for a couple of hours before heading out for dinner. We went for a walk around the area which is the main city centre to find something for dinner, we managed to get ourselves off the beaten track a bit but managed to find a little Spanish restaurant, we were the only ones eating as it was too early for the Spanish, 8.30pm. Headed back to the hotel, took the scenic route, ran into this massive shopping centre, which Brett had to drag me out off. We found a supermarket so decided to get some essentials for our few days here, hence the photo of Brett dragging the shopping cart. Off home for an early night(10.30).
