We walked the streets of Venice past the Rialto Bridge to get to the ferry we needed to board for Murano. We went to the Murano Glass factory however unfortunately it was closed, though we still got to look at their showrooms. There were plenty of shops to look at, we did manage to see a guy creating some of the Murano art that was for sale. It was quite amazing. Early start to catch the train to Venice from Rome. We were in first class - thanks Jane- train was very comfortable however were fed chips for breakfast. Had room service for breakfast this morning, food was really good! We checked out at 12 and walked down towards the Panathanaic Stadium where we were hoping to see some of the special Olympics.
