Okay we have now decided to stop abandoning the blog!!
We went from Hong Kong to Yung Shuo (possibly spelt wrong) via an MTR and a 13 hour train. The town was very touristy and full of shops and restaurants!
On the 1st day Sarah did some Tai Chi and I went up in a hot air ballon :) Tres exciting! As it was St Patricks Day we all went out and celebrated with the other tourists around and about - a messy night was had by all.
On the 18th we went for the longest bike ride in history! and had a beautiful farmers lunch. After a long bike ride back taking in even more scenery we got ready to visit the water cave. We had a tour and then got taken to a mud pool :) after a bit of a mud fight and some good photos we went up to the hot springs to clean up and warm up! After this we went to watch Cormoran fishing - the cruelest and most inefficient way to catch fish ever!!
On the 19th I went to calligraphy with Steve and then we took trains which took a squillion hours and eventually we arrived at our boat on the 3 gorges.
The 20th and 21st did not really go to plan we did go out in a dragon boat and we did see a cultural show but it was SO misty we didn't do half the activities we were meant to and what we did it was very hard to see!!
Yesterday we packed up our stuff and went to see the HEP development - we could hardly see it which was a dissapointment and the day was topped off with an 18 hour train journey - woo!
Enough rambling, will update soon. Jess xxxx
