We set off on a massive bus journey to Singapore. We got told we had to get a taxi, then ferry, then minibus, then a coach to Singapore. This is what happened... We went to Koh Phangan for the half moon party. I would love to go to the full moon but we wasn't in Thailand at the right time. We arrived a couple of days before the half moon. We arrived in Pattaya after a stressful bus journey. Nobody spoke English and we had no idea where to get off. We walked for ages in blistering heat and managed to find a much needed tourist information office. We got booked in a pretty swanky hotel. The best I have stayed in. Pattaya was a real eye opener.
