Sunday started pretty late since I was recovering from both the late night and the huge journey that preceded it. Once I was eventually up and about I headed over to Agus's to go hang out for a while. Alan, Agus, Richard and me went for a coffee, well I had orange juice, and I had my first taste of argentine steak, delicious of course! In the evening Richard, Alan and I went to a Casino on the waterfront. Before we went in we decided that we would pool our winnings, and it was just as well! Rich and I couldn't win a thing and having started out with a pool of 200 pesos we were down to our final 20. Thats when Alan hit a massive winning streak and we ended up winning it all back to break even and then I played the machines and won leaving me a whole 9.1 pesos up for the evening! I'm a rich man!
Monday was a bank holiday in Argentina so there was no school. We went and chilled in a park overlooking the beach and Agus took us for a little wander around the city centre which was nice. Then it was an early night in preparation for starting school the following day.
I woke early partly due to the time difference I think and got ready for school. something I thought I would never have to do again! I got a lift in with Ines and her friend and eventually found Christian, the head of the Senior School, and we talked a bit about my timetable while I'm here. Then I had a little Q&A with some year 9s which was quite funny! The afternoon was definitely the highlight though! Playing lego with little kids was really good then took the year 7,8 and 9s for rugby which was also a bit of a laugh if a little chaotic!
