Sallys Worldwide Adventure
Santa Cruz was a really cute little beach town. It was exactly what you picture a california town to be like. People Roller Scatting and on scate boards along the beach front and full of friendly people.
When I arrived there i was having trouble finding my hostel and this really nice lady over heard me asking for directions and offered me a lift and showed me around the town. And then another time, me and a friend from the hostel stopped in a reasturant for coffee had about 5 cups and then went to pay and they were like dont worry about it, have a good day!!
I went to one of the free beach concerts they have every friday night in Summer, and watched the band that sing 'we built this city on rock and roll' cant remember the name of the band, but it was really good.
The best thing about Santa Cruz was the hostel. Althought it was weird, cause you had to leave at 11am and could return until 5pm and had to be in by 11pm every night or you got locked out. But is was so cozy, had like a little cottage, with 2 rooms coming of it and then a TV room with compy sofas and a dvd and viedo player. And the best best thing was that they treated you to free food all the time, like the kitchen was packed full of food to eat, from veggies and pasta to millions of cakes and pastrys, Just loads of stuff. As you all know me, you know I got my moneys worth!!!
