Hey everyone, so I have recently got back from the Galapagos Islands which were amazing. It was soo hot there I got sun burnt on like the second day it was just crazy heat. I got to see sooo much though as we saw giant tortoises which were so ancient lookingand land and marine iguanas and thatb was just on the first day. We went to Florena on the second day and saw lots more tortoises and got an awesome view of the island. Then we managed to see penguins which i was rather excited about. Our boat did break down which was typical us but it was cool as we just went snorkling and saw lots of dora fish i am not sure there real name and so many others. We also got to see blue footed boobies and this bird with a puffed out red chested bird called a frigart and so much more. Thorsd day we did more snorklind and I got to see a turtle swimming and a sting ray which was super cool. Also we had so many sea lions just darting around us they were soo close, I just loved watching them. On the fourth day we went to Tortuga Bay which was just so beautiful I cant describe how clear and blue the water was it was AMAZING I have plenty of pictures to document it. So we just swam there and saw more birds and iguanas. In the afternoon we visited underground lava tunnels and i saw some aa and po po geography in action. They alsso gave us so much fresh fruit we just knocked from the trees including fresh passion fruit and this pink fruit that was random. I think the others on the tour were laughing at us over how excited we got. On the last day we just had timne to visit these craters which were massive but even better we saw finches which i was so happy about as that was the whole reason the Galapagos are famous. Also we saw a rare fly catcher which was cool. Then we flew back and later that day went straight to the equator line where GPS IS 0,0,0. They had this cool museum where we watched water flow in both directions and staraight down. I straddled the equator so was in the north and south hemisphere at the same time. I also managed to balance an egg on a nail and got a certificate lol. Now we have moved on to Latacunga where we are going to visit a beautiful lake tomorrow before making our way fdown heading to Peru. As we have booke to go to the Amnazon so we have to get a move on. Miss you all x x x
