heya guys I am really sorry its been ages since I lost posted but internet was very expensive in America, I am now in cheaper Ecuador so can update you. Since I last posted I went we hada bit of an adventure as it started snowing loads which held us up by a day but we found this awesome long cabin style hostel near athacabasca falls with wooden everything where you ahd to pump your own water it was so quiet but picturesque. Then on to Banff which was cool. I got to go dog sledding and actually drive the dogs it was amazing and so unexpected i didnt think i would be doing that in a million years.
Since I last spoke I have been to San Francisco which i loved and they had amazing weather there. So we went across the golden gate bridge which is just awesome so big and red. We also went to Alcatraz which was very interesting and I learnt a lot about the escapes and things. The cells were soo small it would have been horrible. Aswell as that we we went to golden gate park which is this massive park with botanical gardens and a lake which we went rowing on just so chilled. I discovered corn dogs there are disgustingly fatty but sooooo yummy, I just had to mention some food. Generally soaked up the atmosphere as there is such a cool vibe there and the houses and little squares are lovely. We also took a day trip to Yosemite National Park where we saw Al Capitano, half dome, bridal veil falls and yosemite falls it wasnt long enough but it was good to see the main things.
The train journey to LA was soooo long all day in fact but it was the nicest train i have ever been on and a double decker so the time actually flew by.Then we moved on to LA where we spent the first day at Venice beach which was nice strolling around and checking out the little stalls. Then the next day after we met with Stephs sister who put us up in the Hilton we went on the hollywood star walk adn I found the star with queen in which was rather exciting. Then we went to the observatory and saw the HOLLYWOOD sign. We drove around and saw some of the massive and amazing houses just ridiculous. I walked down Rodeo Drive where I had an amazing frozen yogurt. It was just so many designers kind of felt out of place down there but it was fun to do.
The flight to ECuador was immense as we left at 2 am and arrived at Panama at 10am nbut then the next flight wasnt till 8.30pm so we had a long time with no sleep. I am fully rested again now and in Quito where we have booked to go to the Galapagos Islands tomorrow which will be amazing I ma soooo excited I am so glad we have managed to do it. Today we have had a qquieter day getting used to the higher altitude and looking around the old town which has some really nice architecture.
So thats about all really guys oh apart from to tell you I have dyed my hair a reddish colour now which is interesting it is taking some getting used to but I think i like it.
Miss you all and hope you are all well keep me updated with your lives x x x
