A relaxing few days by the beach and pool with a tropical climate!
Beau and Alanna had a camel ride in the afternoon sun. Camel fact - camel have feet not hooves.
Tourist delights in Broome included the typical display from a tourist brochure.a trip to the Malcolm Douglas crocodile park with our own Malcolm Douglas (poppy), Justin and Beau. We drove along Cable Beach, which at some points felt like a highway with the large number of vehicles. We viewed the staircase to the moon over Roebuck Bay from Town Park. Justin and Beau went rock hopping to view the original dinosaur footprints at Gantheume Point where they were imprinted many eons ago by the dinosaurs themselves.
We also have had two trips not on the tourist brochures to the hospital for kangaroo ticks on Beau and Finn. Once in Derby and once in Broome. Broome hospital gave us a pair of tweezers and the advice to use fly spray on the tick and leave for five (5) minutes before trying to pull the tick out. Fingers crossed we can pull the ticks out ourselves next time.
