Up early and we are being driven to the pier by Samak in their beautiful air-conditioned car, this is defiantly the way to travel. Catch the boat to the pretty little island of Ko Samet. Found a lovely little beach hut, then straight to the beach, white sands and blue waters (suntan cream at the ready this time). Stunning.... Should probably put here, our plan was to spend 2 days here then head into Cambodia, but after a day hear we realised our last week should be spent exactly where we are. Save the rest of Asia for another adventure.................
Dinner and a few drinks on the beach, watched another amazing fire show 12 men and a mc that sounded exactly like Mr Cho and flip coin happy hr.
We took a boat trip to the nearby, uninhabited islands, where we visited stunning beaches and snorkelled with hundreds of fishes. Visited a fish farm, didn't quite expect the fish to be that big or the sharks and massive turtles. Next few days spent swimming and relaxing on beaches that look like they have been plucked straight out of some exclusive holiday brochures, walking along the island trails to the other equally beautiful beaches and night times eating amazing seafood and drinking Sangsum buckets. We were also treated to the most amazing storm, sheet lightning above our heads and fork lightning over the sea, it was spectacular......
