Well it is good to be back and updating all. Our laptop crashed and getting it fixed was no easy chore(should have learned French). Then when we were staying in the Bordeaux region for 3 days the campground wi-fi crashed. Anyway, had a wonderful time viewing the chateaus in the Loire Valley. We then moved on to St Emilion in the Bordeaux region. Miles and miles of grapes on the vines. Just getting ready to pick. We did a 6 k walk through the vineyards and chateaus on a beautiful sunny day. The houses(and I use the word loosley) at the wineries were right out of the midieaval times. I can't picture a big screen tv in the family room. Probably as set of knights armor and duelling pistols. The wine shops were amazing to see. We have now moved on to the Atlantic coast. We are staying beside the largest sand dunes in Europe. They are 400 feet tall and 3 kilometers long. An atver's dream. Stopped to do some shopping today. 1 baguette, 2 apple turnovers and 3 bottles of red wine for 13.2 euros(20.00). To bad we need food!!!!! We will be heading inland tomorrow and I will talk to you all soon. Remember it is now time to start those Christmas wines.
