Oh my goodness stayed - currently in Napier (north Island of NZ)...staying at Napier Prison...fear not we haven't been arrested...it's recently been converted into a hostel...there are only 5 of us staying at the hostel - which was a working prison until 1996. Nat and I are in the "conjugal Unit" cell on the East Wing of the Prison...Rumour is that this place is haunted...they could be right as there were heaps of murders and hangings here and some real nutters.....

Oh my word...just completed my first SKYDIVE!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH legendary experience. We got into Taupo and 10 mins later Nat and I were getting into the gear ready to jump out of a very small dodgy looking plane at 12,000ft!!! Oh My God...adrenalin rush or what...just completed the "ultimate caving tour" called the Black Abyss - did a 115ft abseil into the cave, fox flying in the dark, tubing (which is basically floating around the dark, cave waters in a black tyre!, walked and crawled through through caversns, saw heaps of glowworms and then climbed up 2 waterfalls aptly named "The Waterfalls of Doom"!!!! Lost the night of the 28/8 as we crossed timelines when entering New Zealand. Initialy impressions - LOVING IT. ace vibe. Staying at ACB - Auckland Central Backackers hostel. Goof place, central location, clean and all the amentities on site. Had my big hair cut at this cool Japanese salon...very little English but managed to get by...really need an image overhaul. Some cool shops on Queen St - where at the South Asian people get their ace clothing gear......

So we've got the car...first stop Raglan - sufers haven...fantastic little (and I mean little) place. Stayed at Raglan Backpackers which is just off the high street. Ace hostel , small beach house place with real friendly staff and clean rooms and showers. Now at Waitomo home of the glowworm caves...went to the museum which is worth checking out...stopped en route at this wool shop where they shear angora rabbit. This place is hilarious - one of the funnies...
