We got up slowly as the people running the campsite had informed us that we would not be able to leave until after 11am as there would be no one aound before then. We packed the motorhome up and started the drive. We decided to avoid the motorways (as you tend to see more of the country that was and Slovenia is not a large country). Within 30 minutes of setting off we came across a resturant that was selling roast lamb and pork on the cooked over an open wooden fire. It was lovely (and really good value for money).
The rest of this short drive took us to the campsite where we were staying which was part of a waterpark and the campsite fee included too visits to the waterpark. So we took full advantage of this and took our first visit to it soon after arrival.
We finished of the evening with a few drinks with the Danish family that was renting a tent near to where we had parked and learnt that if you drive hard, it is only two days drive from Denmark to Zargreb, which whilst in Croatia was ony 26km from the campsite.
