So I didnt end up going to Manly because I know youll all be glad to hear that the weather has been pretty awful here, had a few days of rain but i guess it is winter so I cant complain... however there was a nice day when I went to the botanical gardens with some people I did my RSA with which was good! The gardens are beautiful and they have bats that just hang out in the trees all night and then at sunset they fly off back home! Theyre fruit bats so you have to be careful what you eat near them! There are also parrots that you can go and feed by hand and they just fly onto your arm, or in my case, try and steal you bags! We aslo walked down a pathway which is where you can see the opera house and the harbour brigde together and get some really nice photos (yet to be put on facebook as the pictures are on my phone... so if anyone knows how I can get them onto the computer with no cable please feel free to let me know!)

I have also been very domestic and have finally sorted out somewhere to live! I have found a flat right in the city centere which is around $90 a week cheaper than staying in the hostel which is good! I have also been looking into some tours up the east coast and am going to look into sorting one of them out (eventually haha!)

But my best news of this journal is the fact that I won a surfboard! Scubar (the bar attached to the hostel) had a pyjama party and they gave raffle tickets to everyone that dressed up and I won! I was going to buy a surfboard so you should all be pretty happy for me :) (I have yet to figure out how to get it home yet but im sure ill find a way!)

I am moving into my flat tomorrow so hopefully the people Im sharing with will be cool! and i will update this soon no doubt :)
