Well here i - (we - gaia, tigger and me!) am safe and sound! sorry they aren't my photos yet but just wanted to let you all know that i had arrived safely. the flight was quiet and fairly uneventful. the journey from the airport was quite interesting though... BUT before i start i want to remind people that i am dyslexic and on a foriegn keyboard and under time pressure (though thats mostly self inflicted) so no smart comments about my spelling!!! now - back to the journey... considering that most commercial vehicles say please ok honk on the back of them it was a quiet journey untlil we hit some traffic, when my driver decided to take us down a "short cut" i didn't care or wouldnt have even knwon otherwise, i had already paid. i did get to see quite a bit, of an area i probably wouldnt walk through - more because it was a long way out than any other reason! It was water bottle filling time at a couple of points on route at one of the shanty town type areas - no they dont all have running water for the less worldly ones out there - the water is only run at the pumps for a couple of hours a day so it was a frienzy of local activity! the colours and fabrics were amazing! ANyway i am off to discover more to tell you about and to take some of my own photos!
