Blimey, this one was a bit close for comfort. To be honest, they didn't deserve to lose but hey, who cares! They were all over us in the first 20 minutes and then out of nothing, Ferdinand with a sceaming volley from outside the box straight into the top corner put us one up. Then, 10 minutes later, Benayoun with a delicate chip over the keeper from just inside the box made it 2-0. Happy days and we were having a right laugh as we walked down the tunnel at halftime! Second half and it was all hands to the pump. Suddenly it was 2-1 after Gabidon made a dreadful mistake (to be fair, his first of the season) and let in the Fulham striker to drill one into the bottom keeper. Then they had a blatant penalty claim turned down and then Carroll had to pull of a couple of sharp saves to keep them out. Having said that, Zamora nearly got a third near the end when his header hit the post (gutted as I had a little wager on the Hammers to win 3-1). Anyway, final whistle went, Repka burst into tears of sadness at his leaving and I burst into tears of happiness at his leaving! Another three points on the board (32 now) and I reckon another three wins should see us safe and we can push for Europe! Hot off the press: Ashton definitely signed, Young Terry fit again and West Ham reserve game against Ipswich postponed last night due to a sharp frost! Take care buddy boy.

Cheers Pete for correcting your 'school boy' errors and remember it takes a big man to admit that he made a mistake!!! Just checked the score against Fulham and looks like we have another 2-1 thrashing under our belts, look forward to the report! Anyway just wanted to say i have added a few more pictures to my 'Christmas' photo album so take a look! Also I have a few things coming up this week including walking over the Harbour bridge and my staff christmas party so hopefully will have a few more photos for you all! Take care

Just looked at my Villa football report and noticed a couple of schoolboy errors! Forgot to put the mighty West Ham' score at the beginning (should be 2, although it could have been more!) and the Fulham game is on Sky Sports at 8pm not 8am; buffoon! Anyway while I'm writing this, hot off the press: just signed Dean Ashton from Norwich for £7mm (dependent on him passing a medical, but if Young Terry can, I'm sure Dean will pass it!); two reports from Saturdays Sun (so they must be true) Joey Cole receiving anonymous death threats following his fumble with Page 3 babe Keeley (19 from Bromley); Marleene been caught playing away; has apologised to wife and hopes she can forgive him. Take care buddy boy.

Aston Villa 1 Mighty West Ham - What a day; what a performance, what a team. Actually went to this one up at Villa Park. Lorry loads of West Ham up there; great atmosphere. Started off well and looked quite comfortable. Then they started to put us under some pressure and scored midway through the first half through Hendrie. However we finished the first half on a high forcing a couple of corners and missing a few chances. Came out second half and went ballistic. All over them for a good 20 minutes and you wouldn't have believed they were the home team. First, Zamora equalised with a deft header and then we got a penalty after a Villa player handled a shot from Mullins after another goalmouth scramble. Up stepped Marleene and put it away easily (all this up our end as well). We could have got a couple more after as well but then Pardew made some strange changes (bringing on Dailly ; worse than Repka) and we started to retreat more and more and were holding on at the end. Final whistle went and another three points posted. Whole team played well particularly Marleene, Gabidon and (altogether now) do,do,do Nigel Reo Coker. Added bonus, I had money on the 2-1 scoreline and Villa to be winning at halftime and the Irons at full time: Happy days! Nice little touch at the end; as Repka, playing his last away game for the mighty Claret and Blue, came off at the end (he actually played all right) a Villa steward let a young Hammer onto the field and Repka gave him his shirt. I almost had a tear in my eye. Hot off the press: Repka definitley leaving after the Fulham game on Monday night (live on sky Sports, 8am kick off); I read (or did I dream) that Sven has been looking at Zamora; Zamora just signed a new 4 year deal and, best of all Joe Cole got beating up at a party by the jealous boyfriend of page three beauty Keely (19, from Bromley) after having a fumble. Anyway, take care buddy boy. Ps: just sent a box of Milk Tray to your Brazillian flatmates; should knock 'em bandy!

Norwich 1 Mighty West Ham 2 (3rd Round FA Cup) - Easy peasy, lemon sqeazey win against the Canaries at the weekend. Mullins with a 25 yarder into the top corner put us into the lead after only six minutes and thats how it stayed until just after half time when Zamora made it two, heading in the rebound after the Norwich keeper has saved. McVeigh got one back in the seventieth minute from a penalty but we sat back, had a cup of tea and saw the game out comfortably! Young Terry still out injured but Zamora again played well (got the MOTM in the News of the World). Just been drawn against Blackburn at home in the next round. Going to watch the might Claret and Blue against Aston Villa at Villa Park this weekend: very excited! Will be a tough game though as Villa have picked up a bit of form lately. Fancy a draw. Saw your photos and read your postcard; sounds like you are having a great time (lucky sod!). You take care buddy boy.

Hey honey, how you doing??? Better than us lot im sure. The weather is naff really dull and foggy. Work is naff too but gotta earn some pennies quick. I still cant get used to being home I should be OK by now surely. Not a lot to report really just getting back into working after the mad Christmas we had. Went ice skating at the outdoor rink last week which was cool it started snowing while we were skating, see what your missing!!. Al tells me its 42 degrees in Sydney, how are you coping that is well hot. Hope all is well. Must dash, take care of you. Lots of lovey love Shellie x

Four games over the Xmas period; only one point taken! Could it be because Repka has been out injured? Are we still missing Young Terry Sheringham? Or is the usual saying that we are like the Xmas decorations; always come down after Xmas! I think we have just hit a bad spell (all great teams go through it!), had to change the team around due to injuries and not playing particulaly well. Need to get our act together soon though as all the teams below us got some points over Xmas and are now not far behind. Anyway, here's a brief summary: 1all draw away to Harry "I'm not a crook" Redknapp's Portsmouth. They were all over us first half going in at half time 1-0 up. Collins (Gabidon's replacement) got the equaliser early in second half. We could have won this one but couldn't finish them off. Next up was Wigan at home. We were absolutely crap in this one. This was a "kids for a quid" game and that was too much to pay! Roberts and Camara scored just before halftime and it could have been more. Then it was away to Charlton who had only won one of their last 9 games. By the end of the game they had only won TWO of their last 10 last games, beating us 2-0. Another crap performance. Then it was home to Chelski. One down at halftime to a goal by fatboy Frankie "he ate all the pies" Lampard, we than had a bit of a go and scored straight after the start of the second half through Marleene after a cheeky little one-two with (singalong) do,do,do, Nigel Reo Coker. After that, we had a little surge but then fell apart as they scored through Crespo and Drogba. So there you have it. Norwich away in the FA Cup this weekend so hopefully we can get back on track, but don't hold your breath! Heard on the grapvine (it was in the Sun so it must be true); apparently we have got a bit of money to spend in the transfer window so could be some new faces in for 2006. Could be getting Glenn Johnson back from Chelski enabling us to out Repka (so its not all bad news!) Anyway, Happy New Year and take care buddy boy.
